Description:
This CST lift is for your 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 2 wheel drive Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon pickup. This kit will work on either your ZQ8 or your Z85 trucks. It is not meant for the Z-71 or 4x4 models. With this kit you will get CST's fabricated 5" lift spindle (CSS-C1-7), a carrier bearing drop down bracket, and new extended front brake lines. This kit will allow you to fit 285/75R16 or 285/70R17 tire on a 8" wide wheel. When choosing wheels, make sure they do not have more than 5.00 inches of backspace.
If you have the ZQ8 model Colorado or Canyon you will want to consider getting the CST billet aluminum coil spring spacer because this model sits lower than the Z85 models and this coil spring spacer will give it extra lift. When ordering for the ZQ8 model make sure you choose your correct model in the drop down list so we can include the spacer with your order.
This kit lifts your truck with the 5" lift spindles. What this means to you is that it makes the ride on your truck as close stock as possible because it uses the factory front coilover shock and coil spring.
For the rear part of your truck you have a few different options. First off you can use the CST add-a-leaf to lift the rear about 2". If this is not enough lift you can add the 1" lift shackel to get an additional inch of lift. Your next option is to add the complete leaf pack, which will give your truck 4 inches of lift in the rear and will give you a factory like ride. People that like their truck to sit a little higher in the front will be able to only use the add-a-leaf in the rear but if you want it to sit level you will most likely need the lift shackel as well.
To complete this kit you will need extended length rear shocks, which are availabe in the drop down list below. New front shocks are not required with this kit.
