6˝ Replacement Knuckle System - Superlift's replacement knuckles yield the best possible alignment specs with minimal increase in track width. Track width is the measurement from outside of tire-to-outside of tire. As with all HD series replacement knuckle style lifts, track width must be increased to gain wheel-to-knuckle clearance. Superlift's knuckles increase track width a total of only 1.8˝ compared to as much as 3˝ with some competitors. High clearance, one-piece crossmembers, and all other load-bearing bracketry, are laser cut from .25˝ thick plate steel. A new differentail skid plate connects and strengthens the front / rear crossmembers while protecting the differential and kicker braces further increase overall rigidity. This kit gives you the option of using Superlifts Superride Shocks, or the state of the art Bilstein Shocks.
Notes:
- With single exhaust, a new, reformed section of exhaust crossover pipe is required to clear front driveshaft.
- Minor cutting and / or welding required.
- Requires new wheels with backspacing of 4.25" min. / 4.625 max. For 20 or larger wheels, max. backspacing is 5.5. Can run factory spare tire / wheel in emergency situation.
